Account Manager Team Leader

Full Time Permanent
£48,000 + OTE
An exciting opportunity has come up, working for an excellent company in Milton Keynes as an Account Manager Team Leader. Your role will be to manage and motivate a team of 12 Account Managers, responsible for delivering a high level of service to customers.
Main Duties
- Motivate team members to achieve set KPI’s, including but not exclusive to – growth, retention, contact strategy & customer satisfaction
- Manage the performance of individual team members against set KPI’s
- Be available to answer questions and queries from the team
- Handle escalated issues, resolve and feedback to team to improve customer experience
- Keep the team abreast of industry changes and updates to maintain expertise in the field
- Develop and grow team members to be the best they can be
- Ensure staff are appropriately trained and equipped to carry out reviews and that they understand the wider context within which their work is taking place
- Work with colleagues to identify development opportunities and share best practices where appropriate
- Proactively suggest ideas to improve contact and customer experience
- Develop and implement ways to improve both customer satisfaction and contact rates
- Identify and take ownership for ways to improve the overall experience
Skills required
- Proven experience in sales roles
- A minimum of 12 months people and team management experience, with a track record of coaching and developing staff
- Solid understanding of the sales process
- Strategic thinker, able to interpret business requirements and plan/manage and deliver practical campaigns
- Team player, who can work with a variety of teams, people & clients at all levels
- Enjoy working to targets and strive to exceed them. Naturally motivated, energetic, fun and inspiration, able to engage with big personalities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Takes responsibility for your own personal development and that of your team. Able to develop and coach staff providing appropriate level of guidance and direction to help them improve and increase their potential
- Problem solver with the ability to take ownership and suggest solutions to resolve issues both internally & for your customers
- The confidence to challenge ideas and ask questions of peers & management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong numeracy & information retention skills.
- A quick learner, computer literate particularly Word & Excel and comfortable learning how to use new systems and processes
