AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY has arisen to work for a leading distributor selling into the Construction Industry.

Due to continued expansion we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Technical Sales Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to work within a fast moving environment.

You will be required to manage an existing Account Portfolio alongside generating customer interest from both Trade and Members of the Public.

The job will involve:

• Developing long term relationships and key accounts
• Generating enquires
• Expansion of Company range sales opportunities
• Visiting Clients
• Dealing with enquiries assisting with specifications for various projects
• Liaising and negotiating with manufacturers and customers

Applicants are required to have the following skills and experience:

• Experience working in a customer facing, sales or account management role with a demonstrable track record of success.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, proven in a business environment.
• Strong Customer service and relationship skills
• Product knowledge within the Building and Construction Industry
• Able to work under pressure
• Geographical knowledge of South East of England
• Liaising and negotiating skills
• Computer literate excel experience and knowledge
• Attention to detail
