One of the south coast’s leading integrated marketing communications agencies are looking for an ambitious Account Manager with PR and content experience. You will be working with a range of key clients, from global brands to highly regarded local businesses so the ability to juggle accounts and your time is key.

Role and responsibilities:

Client relationship management-

• To develop long-term successful partnerships with your assigned clients, connecting with key business executive and stakeholders
• Take full responsibility for delivery of your clients’ work
• Arrange and attend monthly contact meetings with the client
• Understand your client’s business, needs and objectives. Be proactive and responsive to each brief
• Attend client events and hospitality, when necessary out of hours

Digital content marketing-

• Ensure effective digital solutions are at the heart of all strategy, ensuring the plan is followed day to day and results are reported
• Create proposals and opportunities to pitch content marketing to clients and prospective clients
• Brief or write and distribute digital content as required on message and brand

Press relations and social media support-

• Know and understand the requirements of key journalists of key client media
• Ensure 100% take up of releases through sound research and excellent writing
• Respond to media enquiries promptly and professionally, providing crisis communications when necessary
• Build relationships with media so that they are coming to you for information
• Proof all copy with 100% accuracy

Skills and experience required:

• Previous experience in a similar role – ideally 3-5 yrs experience
• Preferably agency experience
• Excellent content writing skills
• Digital content experience
• PR experience and confident manner to deal journalists
• Social media experience
