Internal Account Manager

We are looking for an ambitious, hungry and proactive new business hunter with a desire to succeed and meet targets. You will be responsible for generating leads and opportunities for the Company’s Business Development Executives (BDE) to sell our security services to both private and public sector clients. Dealing with high-level decision makers, you will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build a high level of rapport with prospects and customers.
The main responsibilities are:
- Researching organisations and markets to develop new sales prospects, leads and opportunities.
- Produce a sales strategies and business plans to penetrate specific target markets and accounts (in conjunction with BDE).
- Work as a team with the BDE team to manage the sales cycle.
- Manage and develop accounts to maximise both client satisfaction and revenue.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Market Awareness – Use a wide range of available resources to research market trends and competitive information.
- Time and Territory Management – Be able to organise each day week and month to maximise client contact.
- Needs Based Selling – Ability to use advanced questioning techniques to uncover relevant needs across a prospects business.
- Achieving Targets – Understands all KPI’s and the role they play to the success of their team. Prides themselves on exceeding KPI’s and targets and shows consistency and tenacity in achieving them.
The Person:
Ideally you will have worked in a direct cold call environment and have experience selling business to business solutions in a targeted environment; however this is not essential, if you are the right person for the job we have fantastic training available.
Other qualities that we are looking for are drive and self-motivation, tenacious, personable and capability to build rapport quickly over the phone, confident and engaging, methodical and organised.
