Account Manager – Financial Tech Pr – Full-Service Pr Agency

A full-service PR agency is looking for an Account Manager with extensive financial tech PR experience to join its rapidly growing team in East London. Following a series of new business wins the agency needs an expert account handler to provide essential support on its client portfolio which features an ecommerce giant, a cloud-based communications company and exciting start-ups.

Key responsibilities and tasks:

*Managing day-to-day account activity in-line with agreed timeframes and budgets
*Developing strong working relationships with clients
*Reporting on activity and media coverage
*Building relationships with key journalists
*Proactively pitching news and features to target media outlets
*Monitoring the news agenda
*Developing feature ideas and tracking feature and comment opportunities
*Preparing press materials and client documents, including press releases, briefing documents and global toolkits
*Organising and managing events
*Supporting the agency’s new business activities, including identifying opportunities and contributing to presentations
*Issues management when necessary

To be considered for this position you must have excellent client handling skills with the confidence and experience to advise clients and lead in meetings. In addition, you must be a strong leader with solid experience in managing high profile campaigns and projects within a fast-paced environment.
