Account Manager / BDM – South

£48k + Bonus + Car + Benefits

You will be an Account Manager, already specialising in E Trading, Brokers with Binding Underwriting Agreements or volume Van and looking for an opportunity to work for a market leader in this field.

The company offers business insurance to start ups, small businesses, and self-employed people, as well as larger more established businesses. This could be either in a direct to customer environment via bank assurance relationships, or through specialist brokers operating in the online commercial or volume van environment.

E Trading is a significant area of growth for us and you will be optimising the leverage of, and influencing the strategic direction and growth of a panel of strategic E trading Partners. This is a rapidly growing sector with some brokers growing by up to 40% year on year. There are ample opportunities for growth and leads for new deals.

You will be in a high profile role with leading brokers, having exposure to Directors and senior decision makers in underwriting, operations, IT and etrading teams. This is a great platform for your advancement. Your customer base will encompass South Wales, London and the South East – you will need to be based somewhere reasonably accessible for these areas.

What we are looking for
*Good understanding of underwriting & portfolio management principles.
*Strong product knowledge: particularly goods carrying vehicles and small package contracts.
*Good understanding of E traded Commercial markets, brokers and software houses.
*Significant technical insurance or financial service/retail background in a consumer oriented environment.
*Direct E trading experience.
*Professional Qualifications or willingness to study for them.
