Account Manager / AM – Promotional Marketing – London

An Account Manager / AM is needed to join a global leader in the creative promotional marketing arena and one of the largest promotional product suppliers in the world. Based next to the Thames, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager / AM to act as the key go between for the agency and top corporate accounts.

With an impressive client list that includes Google, Sky, Calvin Klein and Bacardi (to name just a few) this industry leader provides branded products to businesses all over the world to help enhance their corporate marketing activity and consumer promotions. With annual sales in excess of £72 million, they employ over 300 people globally across Manchester, London, Germany, Ireland, Turkey, Russia, China and Australia and pride themselves in being an innovative, down-to earth business who continually expand their capabilities and heavily invest in their team.

Joining the 45 strong London team and working alongside the Senior Account Director, you will join as an Account Manager / AM taking responsibility for the retention and development of designated accounts by acting as a link between the client and agency. Whether you are responding to client briefs, enhancing relationships, managing budgets, compiling insight or working closely with the AD on anything else, you should be able to think on your feet and not be afraid to ask the difficult questions that help client accounts grow.

To qualify… You should be an accomplished Account Manager / Senior Account Executive / AM / Senior Account Manager or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Knowledge of the European promotional marketing supply base;
  • A proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets;
  • A commercial focus with the ability to grow and network multiple blue chip clients;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport;
  • A team player mentality with the personality, empathy and the drive to succeed.

A degree education would be desirable.
