Job Brief: Account Executive – PR & Communications

Client Overview: Our client, a dynamic player in the Communications & PR industry, is seeking a talented and experienced Account Executive to join their high-performing PR & Communications team. Renowned for their innovative approach and commitment to excellence, our client operates at the forefront of Communications sector and is now looking to expand their team with a skilled professional who can contribute to their continued success.

Position: Account Executive – PR & Communications

Location: Central London (Hybrid Working)

Salary – £35,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities: As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic communication campaigns for our client. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Client Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their goals and objectives.
    • Act as a key point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  2. Media Relations:
    • Develop and nurture relationships with key media outlets and influencers.
    • Craft compelling pitches and press releases to secure media coverage for clients.
  3. Content Creation:
    • Generate creative and impactful content for various channels, including press releases, articles, and social media posts.
    • Ensure all content aligns with clients’ messaging and overall communication strategy.
  4. Platform Expertise:
    • Utilize communication platforms such as Factiva, Gorkana, Roxhill, Precise, and others to gather insights and enhance media outreach.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and leverage tools for effective campaign planning.
  5. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Track and measure the success of communication campaigns.
    • Provide regular reports to clients, showcasing the impact of PR efforts and suggesting areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 2 years in a communications agency or in-house PR function.
  • Strong background in media relations and content creation.
  • Proficient in using communication platforms such as Factiva, Gorkana, Roxhill, Precise, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
