Account Executive

The Company

My client helps companies to detect and protect sensitive data in their cloud infrastructure. They are an exciting start up that have received two rounds of funding in the last 3 years totalling 1.5 million and are scaling rapidly. The team are passionate about their product and work together on a day-to-day basis across commercial and technology.

Responsibilities:

• As a member of the sales team, you will take joint ownership of their target to acquire clients.
• Gaining a strong understanding of the product, the market and value proposition.
• Undertaking research to identify key accounts, contacts and prospects.
• Working in partnership with the SDRs to identify leads with an outbound focus, using a blended approach of phone, email, and online channels to promote the business and their services
• Creating innovative campaigns tailored to specific industries (e.g. InsurTech) and roles (e.g. Chief Security Officer)
• Set up discovery calls and demos with the SDRs
• Working closely with the wider sales and marketing team, to ensure there is consistency and collaboration in their approach
• Closing the feedback loop to keep the product engineering function abreast of client impressions
• Completion of sales cycles from start to finish, closing deals and working in partnership with the CEO on this.

The candidate:

• You are amitious, motivated, driven and focused on achieving goals
• You’re comfortable in a busy, high-energy environment
• You’re willing to learn, be coached, and can adapt easily to change
• You have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• You have at least 2 years’ experience in a 360 sales role, including closing deals
• A background in the SaaS, Tech or Data Protection industry
• Previous experience of working in a start up is a bonus but not essential for this role
