Main Purpose of Job:

Reporting to the Director of Digital Academies, we’re looking for an Academy Assistant Manager to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone to support our candidates from the moment they enquire, to the point of them starting their learning with our corporate partner, by carrying out interviews, making recommendations to our partner for progression into training and ensuring all required documentation is received in good time.

This role would suit a tenacious person, ideally with some experience of working in recruitment. You will need to be able to work quickly, and under pressure and be a methodical individual who enjoys an end-to-end process with a good eye for detail. The ideal candidate would need to be happy carrying out scheduled, routine tasks on a daily basis. They should be personable, with a genuine interest in engaging, inspiring and motivating talent and be able to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders. They will also need to be able to manage peaks and troughs in their workload and be happy with a degree of flexibility.

The right candidate will be a strong team member and happy to work closely in daily contact with the core team. High levels of technical ability are not required in this role, but enthusiasm is!

Some out of hours work may be required to meet business demand on occasion.

This is a maternity cover opportunity which will run from 1st April – 31st October in the first instance, with a possible part time extension until end March 2023

Main Tasks of Job

  • Daily monitoring of inboxes and timely, accurate and professional response to leads and enquiries.
  • Scheduling interviews and conducting them
  • Recommend candidates for review by our corporate partner
  • Report weekly on take up and progression
  • Participate in weekly reviews with our corporate partner
  • On-going communication with potential candidates to gather information and documentation

Skills Required

  • Prioritisation, written and communication skills
  • Organisational and observational skills
  • Time management and attention to detail
  • The ability to use Outlook, Excel and Zoom without aid

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
