Salary: £30,000 – £33,600 per year

Overview  

A local, award-winning organisation are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. This organisation has experienced significant growth during its infancy and is continuously developing within multiple industries. This role will be fully office based and will suit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk who is looking for a new challenge.

Job Title – About The Role

In this role you will be working alongside the Purchase Ledger manager and reporting into the Finance Director. Your role will be focused on the Purchase Ledger function however you will be required to assist the Credit Controller with their Sales Ledger process’s. Furthermore, you will be required to assist with the implementation of a new finance system as well as finding ways to improve the internal processes.

Your key responsibilities will be but not limited to:

• Receive, register and code purchase invoices onto the system.
• Preparation and schedule of payment runs remittance distribution.
• Matching invoices to purchase order & GRN.
• Resolve invoice queries with either suppliers or procurement department.
• Supplier statement reconciliation at month end.
• Setting up new accounts and complying to new account procedures.
• Receive and process payments received as required.

The successful Job Title will have

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Experience with COINS would be advantageous
• AAT qualified or QBE candidates will be considered
