Aat Accounts Assistant

Grafton Banks Finance is delighted to be assisting a leading independent firm of chartered accountants to recruit an AAT qualified/ part qualified Accounts Assistant to join their Brighton office. Our client is a highly regarded firm who work with a broad range of clients across the region. You will be joining a well established and stable team, based in comfortable offices in a central location.
The role will involve preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies, preparing corporate tax and VAT returns and bookkeeping for clients. You will receive excellent training and support towards a fulfilling career in accountancy.
The ideal candidate for this accounts assistant role will already have gained some experience in a small to medium sized accountancy practice and have passed at least stage 2 of the AAT qualification. You will be hard working and have excellent customer service skills and a desire to pursue a career within accountancy practice. A working knowledge of Sage and/or Xero would be an advantage.
