Job Overview:

This apprentice role is designed to give the necessary training and experience to allow the jobholder to work confidently with the Aderant software package within the legal and enterprise market. This is a primarily development apprenticeship, although not exclusively, and will provide experience with a .Net language and HTML to enable the jobholder to develop customisations that integrate with SQL Databases.

The successful candidate must have strong communication and analytical skills and must work to high standards while maintaining the ability to “get the job done” within deadlines. Team work is necessary as is the ability to work without direct supervision.

Skills Required

  • Ability to monitor own workload, recognise issues & escalate to management in a timely manner
  • Strong IT credentials, with a proven interest in new technologies
  • Motivated, ability to operate with minimal supervision and a self-starter
  • Must be mature in outlook, with the ability to travel or work away from home on occasion
  • Excellent communication skills

Training to be provided:

Software and Web Development Level 3 – •Microsoft Technology Associate in Software Development Fundamentals (MTA) •City & Guilds Certificate in IT Systems and Principles •City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in IT Professional Competence

Qualifications Required:

You must have at least 5 G.C.S.E Grades (C and above) or equivalent, Maths and English is a must.

Apprenticeship Duration 12 – 14 Months

Weekly Wage £: £180

Working Week:37.5 hours (Monday – Friday, 9 – 5:30)

Personal Qualities: An enthusiastic and professional attitude and commitment to learning new skills.

Your Commitment: This apprenticeship will require dedicated and focused individuals to be fully committed to their learning. You will be working on potentially tight time scales and may be required to travel as part of your role.
