7.5 TONNE DRIVERS – GUARANTEED MINIMUM 4 SHIFT PER WEEK TO INCLUDE WEEKENDS

For this role YOU will ideally be based within a 30 minute commute of Darlington
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
All hours throughout the week Monday to Sunday – £12.71 /h PAYE – £12/h Limited Company rates
ROLE INFORMATION:
Rapier Employment working in conjunction with our prestigious client DHL, are currently seeking 7.5 TONNE DRIVERS for their Home Delivery contract in Faverdale, Darlington and the surrounding area.
You will be working in a two person team, where your duties will involve delivering white goods, furnishings and other associated products to customers in their homes. This will involve heavy lifting, sometimes to upper floors and often without the aid of lifts.
As this role is a customer facing position, you will have excellent communication skills, and previous experience in a home delivery role delivering heavy items would make you the ideal candidate for this role.
This position requires flexibility as you could be working any 5 days out of 7, and your usual start time around 0600hrs until finish. This will be dependent on route and numbers of drops.
As this role is primarily a driving role, you will need a minimum level of experience, and be expected to pass a theory and driving based assessment prior to starting work. You will receive training in safe manual handling due to the nature and weight of the products that are being delivered.

Digital Tachograph and CPC qualification
Three months experience in a similar role
