7.5t Sweeper Driver

• Local Borough Council £17 per hour
• Monday – Friday + OT
• Various Shift times
• Valid CPC and Drivers card needed
• Drive mechanical sweepers in accordance with requirements of the Highway Code.
• Vehicle Checks – reporting any issues to management
• Follow route set out for you making sure roads are clear
• Manually remove obstructions from the path of the sweeping equipment which could damage the mechanism of the machine.
• Co-ordinate sweeping works will require co-ordination with other cleansing staff.
• On completion of daily duties return vehicle to Depot, de-water and cleanse.
• Report daily work progress and any problems encountered to the Street Cleansing Manager.
• As required undertake other duties either in the Street Cleansing Section or Refuse Section to provide cover for other operatives.
