7.5 Tonne Driver

**7.5 tonne Drivers required ** Earn up to £26,000 per year ** Immediate Starts available**

We are currently seeking 7.5 Tonne drivers in the Ayrshire area. Have you got a 7.5 Tonne driving licence? Do you have a keen interest in driving? If you answer yes to those questions, you could be just the person for the job. Whether new to driving 7.5 tonne vehicles, an old hand at it or if you have only been behind the wheel a few times, we want to hear from you. There is no minimum experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle required for this position so don’t let that put you off!

What do we need from you?

Commercial Driving isn’t easy. It takes a lot of training and commitment, and as you know, in this day and age, there are some legal requirements before you can get behind the wheel.

* 7.5 Tonne driving licence
* A good understanding of spoken and written English
* Whilst we will accept up to 6 points on your driving licence, there must be no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
* You must have a Digi Tachograph Card and have a good understanding of the Working Time Regulations.
* You will need your DCPC Card – although Transline do offer CPC training so don’t be put off if you haven’t quite finished your class room hours yet!

As with any job in the transport and logistics sector, flexibility is key. The working hours for this role are various. A smart appearance and a cheerful outlook on life would suit also, as some of our driving roles are customer facing.

A knowledge of the local area would be great, but with modern technology these days, it isn’t always required, so don’t let that put you off.
