7.5 Tonne Driver Required – Dependant on experience

Established in 1979 LWC are the UK’s largest independent drinks wholesaler. LWC supply restaurants, cafes & bars with kegged/bottled beer, soft drinks, wines & spirits.

The Role
Due to continued success and growth we are now looking to recruit an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join the team.

Reporting in to the Distribution Manager you will be responsible for delivering products to customers within a 15 mile radius of Manchester City Centre. Your duties will also include:

– Providing excellent customer service standards to every customer
– Preparing the vehicle by conducting operator maintenance
– Ensuring all products for a delivery are correct and that they have been loaded onto the vehicle correctly and safely.
– Maintaining customer confidence by keeping information strictly confidential regarding premise security and operational information.
– Checking the run sheets, picked orders for your deliveries and routing.
– Returning all empty cases and gas bottles and that they are correctly stored in the empties yard and unloaded in the correct manner.
– Completing all required checks and ensure that check sheets are passed to the distribution manager

The Candidate

The ideal driver will hold a 7.5 tonne / C1 licence and must be CPC Qualified. You will have experience of route planning and have great driving habits. You will also have:

– Experience of delivering good customer service
– Strong communication skills
