They are looking for a skilled, proactive Apple Certified Engineer that cultivates highly personalised support relationships with clients and clearly understands their IT infrastructure, internal processes, and overall business needs. As required, you will tailor support for the clients’ environment, advocates on their behalf and facilitates collaboration with the sales and support teams.

You will help debug, quantify and test issues escalated by clients and will partner closely with other support engineers and the sales department to resolve issues, provide solutions and build relationships.

Key Objectives

– Effectively provide all level of OS X Server support and administration (onsite and remote) from the very start of employment
– Review all major client accounts setup and high level support history (within first month)
– Visit all major accounts (within first 2 months)
– Cross train on Client Management technologies in use within their client base (within first 2 months)
– Ongoing: maintain highest level of knowledge within Apple solutions and software and all areas where support and consultancy services are delivered

Essential Skills and Experience:

– Certifications within Apple (ACSA Certified)
– Hands-on experience in networking, routers/firewall configuration
– Experience in web technologies desired
– Minimum of 3 years experience with Mac OS X architecture
– Hands-on experience with a variety of hardware vendors
– Experience with OS X Server advanced configuration and administration
– Experience with OS X command line tools
– Experience with complete server builds
– Experience with backup builds and solutions
– Experience with remote and onsite support
– Experience with server, storage and infrastructure support
– Experience with desktop support
– Effectively manage expectations and grow client and partner relationships by delivering best of class support
– Outstanding customer service, verbal and written communication skills
– Experience in working with external clients, partners and vendors
