3D Specialist

Linked Recruitment are looking for a 3D Specialist with advanced knowledge of 3DS Max to join a very successful company in Christchurch

Working with blue chip brands, the 3D Specialist will carry a high amount of responsibility, be expected to work alone in building entire shots as well as contributing to shots made by others team members.

Candidates must provide reels or online reel links for consideration.

Duties include:

* Building entire shots including modelling, rigging, animation, texturing, lighting, and effects, or contributing any of these elements to shots being created by the rest of the team.
* Establishing working techniques, develop pipelines and rendering set ups in order to optimise render farm usage
* Assisting with production process from pre-productions through to final delivery.

Desired Skills and Experience

The following skills are essentials:

* Advanced technical knowledge of 3D Studio Max is a must (5 years of commercial experience)
* Working knowledge of the Adobe production suite
* A thorough understanding of animation pipelines and the processes involved from the conceptual phase to implementation
* Modelling, rigging, animation, texturing, lighting and effects skills (particles, dynamics and other effects skills are advantageous)
* Good communication skills, pro-active attitude and excellent eye for detail.
* Able and willing to follow direction and openly collaborate with others
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Good understanding of Photography and film
* Able to lead and supervise shots and sequences

The following skills are desirable:

* Experience using Cinema 4D
* An interest in gaming and interactive applications
