They are masters of solutions integration & work simultaneously with shippers, ecommerce enterprises, carriers, postal authorities alike and to put it simply they move data between them all. The world of delivery is undergoing huge change and they are very much at the forefront of the technology behind ecommerce applications and transactions.

They have been involved in this industry for over 20 years and are experts in their field. Recently they developed a new software system and the impact and success has been breathtaking. They have a product that has come along at the right time, the right place and at the right price. They have attracted huge interest and demand from a number of large players in the market and as a result they are growing their development department.

The purpose of this role is to carry out .NET web application development at a senior level for various development and integration related projects as part of the software development team, who are developing online (web based) applications within the ecommerce courier sector.
You will be required to take a lead in specifications and direction of the development team tasks, communicate well within a highly productive team, and ensure documentation is updated accordingly. Should be a self-starter and a team player.

The successful .NET Developer should possess the following:
*Excellent C# and VB.NET skills
*Experience in MySQL Server, Workbench, Data Management, ADO.Net, ODBC
*Web Development skills such as: ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, MVC Framework (preferably MVC 3 onwards, HTML, HTML 5, CSS, JQuery, Javascript, REST)
*IIS 6/7 Experience in setting and configuration for .Net web applications
*Experience with server configuration for Windows platform
*Strong .NET development experience

Desirable:
*Ecommerce experience

Salary: Up to £48K-£60K
