2pm – 10pm Logistics Supervisor

An established shipping firm in Liverpool City is looking for an experienced Logistics Supervisor to join them on a permanent basis, working 2pm – 10pm Mon – Fri.

The company is offering an excellent salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will have shipping logistics experience as well as supervisorial experience.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics supervisor will be responsible for:

• Use Atlas system & vendor systems to coordinate equipment control
• Review and correct EDI errors
• Track & tracing reports and trace shipment rail vendors
• Input rail billing for carrier haulage shipments
• Coordinate empty repositioning requests
• Prepare load lists and cross-check with terminal systems
• Operate Atlas system to coordinate all truck deliveries
• Follow-up on all overdue equipment
• Monitor vessel load lists and empty discharge reports
• Update vendor systems for equipment releases
