My client a leader in the Media and broadcast arena are currently looking for a 2nd Line Technician to join their head office based in West London. Initially the contract will run for 2 months but with a good chance of an extension.
As a 2nd line support technician you will be involved in Physical installations of networking environments and building servers and workstations. You will have excellent infrastructure experience but more important is a proactive and motivated approach to work, excellent academic record and the desire to learn new technologies and develop new skills as well as be part of a team.
As a 2nd line Technician (Microsoft/ Linux / VMware) You will have a good level of commercial Technical Support experience, having gained knowledge with technologies including VMware, Citrix, Exchange Server 2003 / 07/ 10, AD, Windows Server 2003 – 12 and Microsoft Office (Win7,Win8). You will also require a good understanding of Linux support and ideally with flavours such as RedHat, Ubuntu or OpenSuse.
