Summary:
I currently have a rare opportunity for a 2nd line support analyst to join an international law firm based in the centre of London. This role is a 14 month fixed term contract and has the possibility to go permanent. This role is only available due to someone going on maternity leave.
The ideal candidate will come from a 2nd line support role within a law firm providing the below tasks.
Pay:
You will be paid as a permanent employee but on a fixed term contract of 14 months. The basic salary is up to £34,000 per annum plus 15% of your salary as shift allowance which takes you up to £39k if you receive the full £34k basic.
Daily duties:
- Provide 2nd Line support to 900+ staff by telephone, remote and desk side visits
- Accurately record all requests and respond a timely manner
- Liaising with third parties and the technical support team
- Configuration and maintenance of Dell laptops and PC’s
- PC and telephony moves
- Setup of conference rooms
- Manage starters and leavers via active directory
- Provide suggestions on improvements for the service desk
Skills & Experience:
- Law Firm experience is essential
- Excellent verbal communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with a wide variety of junior to senior level staff on the telephone and face to face
- Knowledge of MS 2010 with a focus towards Outlook and Word
- Mobile device support – iOS, Blackberry and Android
- Worksite, Interaction, Carpe Diem, Time Builder and Laserforms
- Active Directory
- Citrix
- Windows 7 support
Shift patterns:
Weekends 1 in 5 weeks (Sat & Sun)
- Week 1 – 7am to 3pm
- Week 2 – 8am to 4pm
- Week 3 – 8pm to 4:30pm
- Week 4 – 11:30am to 7:30pm
- Week 5 – 3pm to 11pm
