2nd Line Support | £200/day | Central London | Rolling Contract

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialist are currently representing our client; a prestigious IT services firm based in central London who boast an international client base – specialising in IT management, support, engineering & consulting.

This 2nd Line Support contract represents a fantastic short-term job opportunity for an individual with a desire to gain exposure to the latest and greatest technologies.

The Objective:

The ideal candidate will be able to provide support on a busy helpdesk (including use of a ticketing system eg. Remedy, Autotask) and be involved with the project engineering team on cloud and data centre infrastructure.

The Pre-Requisites:

You will require 3 years’ of 2nd line helpdesk experience, with an in-depth knowledge of Windows OS, Mac OS and Microsoft Office. In addition experience with Microsoft Exchange, Server, Office 365, Active Directory will be required.

The Key Responsibilities:

– Provide on-site services to clients in and around London’s Mayfair.

– Offer excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure.

– Prepared to work some out of hours and weekends.

The Desirables:

If you possess an ITIL qualification and have experience with monitoring platforms, and are familiar with Windows registry, hybrid environments, virtualised technologies, Wintel server hardware, SANs and also possess a CCNA (and advanced network skills), then we’d very much like to hear from you!
