2nd line Support Engineer
£33,600-£38,400

Our client, a leading IT service provider based in London, is recruiting a 2nd line support Engineer to join their growing company. Providing IT services to highly a highly prestigious client base in and around the City/West End, this position is client facing and will require a minimum of 2 years previous IT Support experience in the UK.

2nd Line Support Engineer duties:

*Providing 2nd line support
*Ownership of cases relating to line 2 support
*Develop and build relations with a portfolio of around 250 Clients
*Performance monitoring to ensure servers are working to standard
*Security Sweeps on client networks
*Patch and firmware management
*Backup monitoring, implantation and testing
*Management of networks/administer a variety of server operating systems and technologies (Windows Server 2003/2008/2010, Linux, Exchange 2003/2007/2010) using Microsoft System Centre and other tools
*Software deployment and Management
*Disaster Recovery Management and Maintenance
*Willing to undergo further training

Skills and Attributes:

*At least 3 years experience in IT
*Degree in an IT related subject essential!
*Microsoft qualifications
*Excellent interpersonal skills
