A rapidly expanding IT Solutions company are urgently seeking an experienced 2nd Line Engineer to join an existing team of 5. The primary responsibility is to provide support for Microsoft Windows Server, VMWare, and Infrastructure-related issues. The position will suit a confident sociable person who is passionate about technology and is able resolve technical issues in an efficient and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess the ability to define and build automation workflows for patching, maintenance, and alerting.
- Be comfortable with providing the functional designs, Visio diagrams and documentation of existing of future customer environments.
- Ability to manage multiple small systems upgrade projects through to completion
- Managing multiple projects
Technical Requirements:
- Ideally 6+ years’ of IT Support experience.
- Network, Storage and virtual server
- Basic Scripting experience (PowerShell, VB)
- BSc degree in a computer related discipline highly desirable
- ITIL functional experience desired.
- Basic Windows scripting experience (batch files, PowerShell, VB).
- MCSA/MCSE
Monday – Friday
Salary: £30k – £42k
