2nd Line Application Support Consultant
2nd Line Software Support Specialist, Senior Software Support, Customer Support Specialist
£42-40,000 + Pension + Training (ITIL) + Benefits
An established, dynamic and ambitious SW House based in West London are actively seeking an experienced 2nd Line Software Support Consultant to take up a senior position supporting their award winning Work Flow solution, to UK based blue chip clients,
The Role:
- Prioritise, troubleshoot and resolve technically complex incidents / problems escalated by the 1st Line Support Team.
- Work closely with Application Development teams to get problems fixed
- Provide assistance with the root cause analysis of major incidents and problems.
Essential Skills / Experience
- 3yrs+ in Software support with strong problem solving background with a focus on ownership of issues and a commitment to resolving them
- 1-2 yrs 2nd Level problem solving experience of Client-Server AND web-based applications.
- Broad technical knowledge: SQL skills coupled with good network TCP/IP and infrastructure related skills.
- Understanding and logical troubleshooting of Windows based application work flows, reports and forms, ideally in a XML, PHP or ASP.NET and Java Script development environment.
