An experienced 2nd/3rd Line Support professional who has experience with a broad range of technologies including network cisco switches and routers, virtualisation and servers is required by an expanding international Managed Services company. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and ambitious Engineer to join a passionate and driven team. This role offers exposure to a variety of technologies, environments and career progression routes through exposure to support desk, project work, presales and data centre.
You will provide 2nd/3rd line expert support to clients both external and internal, working within structured service levels to ensure customer satisfaction and the resolution of escalated issues.
Technical Skills:
- Networking
- Cisco Switches and Routers
- VMware
- Exchange Server
- Citrix (advantageous)
You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, have the ability to manage customer expectations and convey technical information to a non-technical audience. The ideal candidate will ideally have at least 4 years’ experience working in a support role and possess or be willing to work towards a MCSE and CCNA or VCP alongside ITIL or SDI qualifications.
Salary: £36k – £42k plus excellent benefits
Monday-Friday (shifts between 8am and 8pm)
