2D CAD Technician / Coordinator-Leading M&E Contractor

The Company

My client is a leading provider of mechanical & electrical installations and maintenance across the nation. They were originally formed a little over 30 years ago and have grown to a company with a turnover of £30m+.

There main sector of strength is in retail having earned an enviable reputation completing projects across the sector for a who’s who of blue chip companies. However they do also work across Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Leisure, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Residential, Airports and Rail sectors.

This growth is still continued to this day, with the company experiencing very lucrative times currently.

The Job

This job is for a 2D cad technician/co-ordinator, you will be in charge of producing 2D plans from consultant’s drawings. You will also be in charge of co-ordinating these services.

This role will require you to work as part of the Cad team and also unaided on M&E projects, while also working closely with contracts/project managers.

The Person

You will need to have previous experience within an M&E contractor environment. You will also need to be conversant in the use of AutoCAD.
