2 X Credit Controller – Temporary – Permanent

This role will be based within a team of nine and key responsibilities will include:

– Managing a high volume of customer accounts
– Controlling and minimising outstanding debt
– Managing debtor ledgers
– Ensuring that monies owed are cleared for payment
– Minimising risk and exposure to bad debt
– Identifying and dealing with any queries to ensure prompt payment
– Reviewing all debtor balances daily
– Highlighting any bad debt situations to the Finance Manager
– Ensuring accounts are reconciled daily
– Ensuring credit note requests are produced in a timely manner and that cash is posted and agreed internally
– Producing weekly and monthly reports
– Providing copy invoices and statements
– Releasing accounts when payment is received
– Reducing debtor days
– Building rapport with clients and customers and to ensure all documentation is recorded and filed correctly
– Providing the highest levels of service to customers at all times.

It is essential that you have previous credit control experience with excellent knowledge of Excel. You should be a self motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure.
