Position: Service Desk Analyst – IT Support – 1st line Support – 3 – 6 months – £11 – 11.50 per hour
Commutable locations: Suffolk, Ipswich, Colchester, Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds

My Client are urgently seeking an experienced 1st line Support analyst to join a busy Service Desk on a contract basis.

You will have previous experience in a Service Desk environment, providing telephone and remote support to a wide range of users. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is experience classifying, logging and managing the ongoing process of incident resolution – ideally in an ITIL environment. This role has come about due to an uplift in work – and several large projects requiring additional resource, so candidate should be prepared to deal with medium / high call levels.

Key technical skills include:
Service Desk experience (ITIL preferred)
Excellent customer service skills – high 1st time fix rate
Windows 7, Office 2010 expertise
