1st Line Support – Immediate Start

Our Client – an established and well respected name within their sector are looking for an experienced 1st Line Support to join their team.

This opportunity will be on a temporary contract until February 2016 with the possibility to go permanent for the right individual.

IT Helpdesk – The Job

• Receiving, logging and managing calls from internal staff and external clients via telephone, email and via the service tool
• 1st Line technical support across the desktop and server infrastructure platforms.
  Incident liaison for all 2nd line resolver groups.
• Development and implementation of new procurement module within Service Now
  Conducting training sessions and documentation related to the implementation of Service Now to internal staff
• Creation of new policies and procedures for the Service Desk based on ITIL framework.
• Creating requests for application packages to be created and liaising with the desk side team to perform IT testing.
• Lotus Notes Domino Administrator
• Unix Administrator – Linux Account set up, password unlock/reset
• Desktop and laptop implementation and support
• Remote Server access support
• Purchasing of all new IT related hardware equipment
• Purchasing of all IT Software and licenses

IT Helpdesk – The Candidate

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Good knowledge of Microsoft packages and Lotus Notes
• Excellent telephone skills
• Good administration skills
• Ability to self-manage & prioritise workload
• Ability to communicate clearly to all levels of staff
• Pro-Active and enthusiastic attitude
