1st and 2nd Line support Engineer Hemel Hempstead £30K – £36K Essential

  • Provide 2nd line ICT support for customers and colleagues.
  • Keep good witten documentation regarding Customer’s and Internal information
  • Keep abreast of new technologies
  • Carry out basic surveys for AV, Wireless
  • Assist the Sales team in the techincal aspects of writing quotes.
  • Helpdesk administration
  • Administration of Warranties and Returns
  • Liaison with 3rd parties to resolve ICT issues
  • Evaluate new software and hardware to ensure smooth functioning of ICT systems prior to install.
  • Extenstive Experience providing 1st line and some 2nd line ICT support.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
  • Active Directory
  • Scripting
  • DNS
  • Good Experience in support Virtual Server and Desktop Environments.
  • Good Experience in managing and supporting iOS and Android devices.
  • Good Experience working in an educational environment.
  • Good Experience Supporting Educational hardware and software inc. IWB’s, Visulisers, Tablets, Netbooks, VLE’s etc.
  • Experience in script writing to help manage systems
  • Experience of managing small projects would be good.
  • Experience of RM systems would be good

  • Educated to GSCE with 6 A to C grade or equivalent
