A growing IT Support company in Central London is looking for an IT Support candidate. The role will be predominately 2nd line support, but will also cover the 1st line remote support with elements of 3rd line support providing out sourced IT for small to medium businesses based in London, the South East and Birmingham.
The role will require travel and commute between customer sites. Role also includes Providing desktop\server support over the phone, via remote access tools and on site when required.
To configure, test, support and maintain a varied range of hardware including Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Mobile phones and Tablet computers. Take ownership and resolve issues that have been escalated from the 1st line. Responsible for managing the internal backup system.
Technical Skills • 1 years minimum experience in an IT support role • Familiar with Windows Server and Apple Mac architectures • Knowledge in software and hardware firewalls. • Active Directory Management • Centralised Anti-virus management. • Microsoft Exchange administration • Networked Printers • Networking fundamentals (switching/cabling/DHCP • Mobile Technology (iPhone, Android and Blackberry deployments and support)
