SC Education Recruitment is looking to recruit a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant with experience working with complex needs.

This is a permanent role due to start in September in the Leeds area.

The successful candidate must have:

• Experience supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities, including the more complex needs
• Excellent communication skills
• A non-judgmental approach and the ability to stay calm when faced with challenging behaviours
• A genuine passion to work with young people
• The ability to promote inclusion
• Experience developing EHCP plans and Intimate Personal Care plans
• A Team Teach qualification would be desirable but not essential
