Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and expanding mainstream schools based in Brent.
The school are seeking a versatile experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team from mid-January and take on the role of supporting a Year 2 child 1-1 with autism. You would work under the direction of the SENCO to help this child access their learning and make progress against their targets.
The successful applicants will have:
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and parents/careers
- Excellent literacy, numeracy & ICT skills
- Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold an enhanced child, child & adult barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behavior management
- In-house Training and Development Team
