Steelwork Detailer

Salary: £44,400 – £48,000 per year

We are delighted to be recruiting a Steelwork Draughtsman with experience using Tekla for our large and well respected client. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and robust engineering company that specialise in design and build projects (mainly structures/buildings). Draughtsman duties include:

• Create 3D CAD models using Tekla software.
• Produce all material call off, drawings etc from the model.
• Issue drawings etc to agreed deadlines.
• Raising RFIs/TQs as required.

Draughtsman requirements:

•  You should be a competent user of Tekla CAD software.
•  You should have at least 3 years’ experience working as a Draughtsman on structural steel projects such as portal frame buildings.
•  Have a good attention to detail.
•  Be looking for a long term job and live in/within a commutable distance of the design office in Derby.
