A Fantastic opportunity to join a well established company based in Heathrow.

Our client who is a market leader within the Tool Hire industry is looking for a General Assistant to join their team on a Permanent basis starting ASAP and paying up to £26,000

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Summary
General assisting in the day to day running of the depot and yard
Main Responsibilities
*Booking equipment into depot, checking for any damage and reporting accordingly
*Reporting to Depot Manager/Foreman on requirements for purchases of equipment spares and fuels
*Assisting the Depot Manager/Foreman to support depot operations to provide customer assistance
oRefuelling kit in accordance with safety requirements
oCarrying out depot and yard maintenance
oCarrying out environmental checks, as required
oCarrying out daily fork lift truck checks
oCarrying out daily fuel tank checks
oPuts equipment away ready for hire
*Ensuring that all equipment is cleaned so as to be presented to customers in accordance with company standards
*Dealing with enquiries in a professional and friendly manner and informing depots/regional teams of any problems when they arise
*Assisting Drivers, when required, with safe loading, securing and unloading
*Identifying any safety risks in the depot/workshop to the Depot Manager
*Completing all administration documents in a timely manner
oAssisting in the completion depot asset and stock counts on a rolling and annual basis
*Keeping the depot tidy and well organised at all times
*Wearing full uniform and PPE at all times
*Maintaining knowledge of the group’s equipment for hire/sale and activities
*Conducting additional ad hoc duties as may be required
*Following all company procedures and policies in company handbook
*Ensuring all relevant training has been attended
*Supporting and communicating effectively with the depot team

Ideal Candidate
Essential
*Fork lift truck licence
*Organisation and communication skills
*Team working
*Technical understanding of hire equipment
*Ability to test and repair all equipment to the highest standard
*High level of integrity
*Capable of taking ownership and responsibility
*Ability to work effectively under pressure
*Willingness to work unsociable hours as and when required
Desirable
*Knowledge of tool hire equipment/products
*Full driving licence
*Innovative
*Driven
