A global manufacturing employer are recruiting for experienced Welder Fabricator to join their team in Gateshead on a long-term temporary to permanent contract.

To be successful within your application you must have previous experience within a similar role and hold relevant welding certificates. You must also be able to work efficiently as part of a team and independently where required.

Within this role you will be required to work on day shift, 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday. Your duties will include:

* Carrying out repairs to welds, metal framework etc. across the factory

* Assembling large workstations which includes design,

* Adhering to and aim to improve health and safety policies and procedures

* Conducting Kaizen related activities within the workplace

* Ensuring all work is produced to a high-quality standard
