Packing Operative

Salary: £13.8 per hour

We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Packing Operative in the Greenwich area, for a temporary ongoing position, which could lead to a permanent job depending on performance and fit with client requirements.

Packing Operative Main Duties/ Responsibilities:

Packing Operatives for this role shall be responsible for the following:

* Ensuring all orders are packed correctly adhering to safety standards

* Ensuring timely packing of shipments

* General warehouse duties, including picking, sorting, pallet strapping, shrink wrapping and ensuring your workspace is tidy and safe

* Some data entry

* Some use of counterbalance forklift

Packing Operative Candidate Requirements:

* Experience and knowlege of Counterbalance Forklift operation

* Packing, pallet strapping and shrink wrapping experience

* Posession of RTITV – AITT licence

* Fit and must be able to lift up to 25kg alone

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Computer literate, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel

* Well-versed with Health and Safety practices

This Packing Operative role is a warehouse based position, with working hours from Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm. However, successful Packing Operative candidates may be required to be flexible to meet client demand.
