CNC Turner Setter / Operator

Our client in West Yorkshire seeks an apprentice trained CNC Setter/Operator with at least two years programming experience to join the day shift.
You will have experience of programming Fanuc or similar control systems to work in this heavy engineering machine shop producing small batch and one-offs on a large scale.
You will be capable of operating a range of CNC lathes, work range from 250mm diameter to 650mm diameter and up to 500mm in length and Fanuc controls working to tight tolerances and using offline software on a laptop.
You will possess the ability to read drawings, have an understanding of imperial and metric measurements and experience of inspecting your own work.

The hours of work are 07.00 to 16.15 Monday to Thursday and 07.00 to 11.00am on Friday.
