Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an interim manager to help for 9 to 12 months at a lovely small nursery based in the central London area. The nursery holds 23 children.

We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated individual to be a nursery manager to work as part of the management team providing professional leadership and management.

Person Specification

* Have at least one years’ experience at once setting as a manager or be an experienced nursery deputy manager

* Live within a 30-minute commute

* The successful candidate must have a proven track record in Nursery Management and with strong leadership skills

* Be qualified minimum Level 3 in Childcare or above

Job Description

* To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education

* To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff

* To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are always implemented and adhered to

* To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends

* To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels

* To implement an effective parent liaison program, to be influential in developing strong links with parents

* To manage all day-to-day operations of the nursery

* Salary – £34,800p/a per year (Depending on experience)

* Working 8am to 5pm 5 days a week (Mon-Fri)
