Road Passenger Vehicle Driving Assessor

This position is based in the North East where a vacancy now exists for a Road Passenger Vehicle Driving / Taxi Assessor. This post requires flexibility and ability to work under pressure.

Learning Links run 6 busy Centres with excellent tutors offering a wide range of programmes that improve employment. Key to their success are good administrators, who can use I.T. systems and have strong people skills.

The successful Assessor will be responsible for the training, assessment and support of a caseload of learners undertaking NVQ’s in Taxi Driving / Road Passenger Vehicle Driving to ensure the timely and accurate delivery in line with company procedures.

Core duties will include:

* Completion of all induction paperwork
* Working to Awarding Body Standards
* Completion of assessments and eligibility checks
* Meeting audit requirements
* Meeting with IV’s
* Observations
* Completion of portfolios

Applicants must have assessing experience, being occupationally competent is an advantage. Qualifications Essential to this position includes:

* PGCE, CTLLS or DTTLS
* TAQA, or A1
* Functional skills Maths Level 2
* Functional Skills English Level 2

A Driving licence is essential as travel around the north east required.
