The Company:
Our client is an International Online Marketing company, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Their aim is to increase their client’s online presence, through Search Engine Optimisation, Pay Per Click Management and Conversion Rate Optimisation, optimising their clients websites performance, which ultimately will lead to more enquiries and most importantly more sales.
They are an expanding business full of dynamic, talented and innovative SEO specialists, who endeavour to utilise company’s websites and online marketing strategies to ensure businesses fulfil their potential.
The Role:

Responsibilities include:
Creation of bespoke content for clients websites to brief and to agreed deadlines.
Writing off-site news articles, features, advertorials and other bespoke copy to enhance clients online presence.
PPC ad copy creation.
Production of news articles, blog posts and other promotional copy for the company.
Generation of content marketing ideas.
To actively support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
To contribute to the development of the company in-house technology and overall content strategy through a pro-active approach to opportunities and ideas.
To undertake training as required and agreed.
To train and share skills with other team members and departments where appropriate.
To attend and participate positively in staff meetings.
Keep up to date with advances in web copywriting, content marketing and other areas of Online Marketing.
Undertake and fulfil other duties as may be reasonably required by the company, in line with the incumbents skills, knowledge, abilities and personal development opportunities.
The Individual:
Degree level qualification in a communications based subject e.g. Journalism, Marketing, English, PR, Creative Writing.
An understanding of Online Marketing and the impact of both onsite and offsite content on search rankings is advantageous.
A strong portfolio showing experience of writing for the web e.g. blogging, articles written for online magazines and other publications.
NCTJ media law qualification or working knowledge of UK media law is advantageous.
Strong oral and written communication skills and sub-editing experience.
Ability to write in different tones and styles to brief.
Self-starter with strong self-management skills.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Thorough, accurate with excellent attention to detail.
A team player who has the ability and confidence to work on own initiative and independently when needed.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Self-motivated and a willingness to contribute ideas.
