Salary: £26,000 per year
Trident Group has over 50 years’ experience of delivering homes, services and innovation for up to 8,000 people in over 3,400 homes in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the Midlands. It employs more than 850 staff, works with many volunteers and provides training places and apprenticeships as part of the employment package. The Group consists of;
* Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance
* Trident Reach, which is a registered care and support charity providing services to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and those who have been victims of domestic abuse across all age groups across the Midlands.
About the role
We are looking for a number of people to come and join us to undertake care roles to assist a diverse customer group to remain in the community, as well been supported and maintained safely in their own homes and thereby enhance the quality of life.
You will be responsible for providing person centred support to customers within their homes and local community. The role can be challenging but is equally rewarding due to the varied needs of individual customers we support. Punctuality and reliability are essential to meet the requirements of the role.
Experience within social care as well as a good understanding of challenges faced by people with learning difficulties, autism and mental health conditions would be advantageous, as would Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care.
Key responsibilities:
* Monitor customers health and wellbeing, record and report any changes to relevant internal and external bodies
* Understand and act upon any safeguarding concerns
* Support customers with life skills (including financial budgeting, diet, nutrition and exercise) and empower them to make a positive contribution to society
* Effectively working in partnership with external agencies for the benefit of customers
About You
We are looking for applicants who are reliable, honest, caring, dedicated, and flexible and work on a rota basis to include bank holidays, weekends and sleep- ins. In addition, we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated staff to support our service users in all areas of their everyday living skills and daily activities – all in a person-centred way.

In addition, we can offer flexible working patterns to suit the needs of the individual so you can have the work-life balance to suit you. These hours include Full time, Part time, Weekends and Evenings.
Training to promote development and opportunities would be available for successful candidates.
