The Fundraising Team puts supporters at the heart of everything we do. Supporting ambitious growth in its fundraising income, the Customer Care team is responsible for responding to the needs of member, donors and potential supporters by providing excellent customer care and helping deliver the best possible experience.

Salary: £26,470actual per year
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent

Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. There will be 850,000 people with dementia in the UK by 2015 with numbers set to rise to over 1 million by 2025.

The successful candidate will adopt a key role within the department to ensure that all financial information is accurately processed and customer enquiries are dealt with efficiently and in a way which inspires our supporters to defeat dementia. We are seeking someone with a commitment to customer care and an understanding of contact management databases.

To succeed you will possess excellent time management skills as well as verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of providing a quality service in an office environment. You will be a self-motivator with a strong commitment to team working and a willingness to solve problems. Excellent IT skills are essential to the success of these roles.
