Warehouse Operative

Pure Staff Ltd are currently recruiting up to 5 new full time operatives for a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading distributor of food products to the international market.

Our client has been working with us for over 4 years and has taken many people on permanent due to continued expansion and growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company who have a stable and diverse client base which has so far not been effected by the current economic climate.

Temporary workers with a good work ethic and good timekeeping and attendance will be rewarded with a permanent job where you can expect to receive a starting salary of £26,000 plus team bonus and life insurance with an annual salary review, which is roughly £9+ per hour. Whilst working on your trial period, it will begin at £6.70/7.20 per hour, dependent upon age (in relation to the new national living wage).

Permanent job is only offered if successful during trial period as a temporary worker. Working 8am til 5pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 8am til 2.30pm with possible overtime.

Main duties consist of labelling and packaging food products which include sweet, savoury, meat products such as pork and beef and alcohol may be handled. All staff are expected to hit allocated targets during trial periods. Light duties but working at a very fast pace. Mental endurance is a must as work is highly repetitive.
