Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

Company: A leading currency/FX business with an excellent reputation as well as an award winning range of products for individuals and corporates. The Head Office is situated in the heart of London close to Victoria and Belgravia. Role: A Webmaster / Web Designer is now needed to take full responsibility for the corporate website from the design/look as well as layout and coding (within a CMS) – this role will really stretch your technical and creative skills.

You will be responsible for:

– Website Update / Maintenance – maintaining and updating the corporate website.
– Website programming and development – translating your creative vision for the website and using your technical expertise to bring them to life. You will need to ensure the build aligns with other marketing activity (e.g. SEO & Conversion Rates).
Website Design & Layout -maintain the current website standard to ensure it remains user-centric, easy to navigate, reflects the company’s corporate style and is responsive in its design (mobile friendly)
– Website Testing – regular testing of the website for possible issues and resolving them.
– Liaising with the marketing team to translate campaigns onto the website

Your experience is likely to include some or all of the following:

– Excellent technical skills with Adobe Software (Adobe Dreamweaver CS6, Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Flash CS6), Illustrator or Dreamweaver along with HTML5 / CSS3 / Javascript coding ability. Any experience with Umbraco would be advantageous.
– Experience as a Front End Developer
– Extensive experience as a Web Designer either within a corporate or a Web Design agency.
– Creative understanding of responsive design is essential
– A portfolio of website design that is creative, yet, commercial and demonstrate your ability to produce a website that appeals to customers.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Determined, focused and positive attitude
– Experience of working within a marketing team is preferable.
