Data Analytics & Insights Lead – Home Based – £65k plus benefits

An exciting opportunity to join a leading Facilities Management organisation on a blue chip client account. This role is based from the comfort of your own home and requires someone with knowledge of Facilities Management/Real Estate. You must be an influencer and able to drive things through. This role is all about looking at the huge amounts of data to feedback to the team and recommend areas which can be improved regarding workplace efficiencies. You must have a solid track record in Qualitative and Quantitative research and be used to challenging the data and the way it is collected. This is a client facing role. Knowledge of Snowflake and Stardesigns is a bonus.

Purpose of the Job

The Data Analytics & Insights Lead is a key critical role. Your objective is to strategically influence the design and drive both connectivity and analysis of data to solve business problems whilst leveraging “user centric” feedback and “digital Sources” to provide data and insights to drive continual improvements in workplace experience and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities and Expected Deliverables

– Leads the implementation of connected data processes with Account Lead and relevant Program Leads, internally, other T1 Suppliers and Client platform stakeholders to identify the business requirements and contribute to the Client strategy. 

– Creates the data models and frameworks that drive meaningful business scenarios which impact business processes and or decisions.

– Design and build of specific data dashboards that link various information sources to support business decision and stakeholder governance 

– Monitor leading and lagging performance indicators for example tracking the impact of actions put in place in end user experience, specific moments in the customer journeys, for example: 

› customer interactions “strategic” reporting (increase in customer satisfaction / NPS, savings and / or increase in revenue)

– Analyses and identifies what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources, leveraging new data collection processes and/or challenging existing connectivity of data.

– Makes strategic recommendations on data collection, integration and retention requirements incorporating optimized business requirements and knowledge of best practices.

– Work very closely with Client and other T1 suppliers in building standardized data sets, dashboards, data input modules (PowerApps) & support the data backbone infrastructure

– Implement a data governance framework to monitor the quality of information, whilst ensuring continual improvements in data accuracy, consistency, and completeness

– Leads the cultural evolution within the account to become an increasingly more data centric organization

– Responsible for the creating and managing the Data & Analytics roadmap, giving clear visibility to relevant stakeholders of future evolutions and their associated timescales.

Innovation in data collection solutions to answer the business need

– Develop innovative and effective approaches to solve analytics to address the business need leveraging expertise / experience on similar business problems 

– Empower the teams through effective communication and education of data collection methodologies

– Validates technical risks and technical KPIs.

– Validates analysis using scenario modelling

– Identifies patterns

Ensure quality insurance and run performance and metrics measurements

– Demonstrates following qualities: clarity, precision, relevance, depth, breadth, logic, significance, and fairness.

Communication and presentation of derived insights

– Communicates and works with business subject matter experts

– Close working groups with Program supports leads

– Working closely with Client & other T1’s to build a consistent data models and share best practice

Education & Experience

− Qualified in mathematics, statistics or computer science or related field; Degree level preferred. 

− Typically requires as least 5 years of relevant quantitative and qualitative research and analytics experience with a strong understanding of business and client needs

− Strong business acumen i.e. ability to ‘see the big picture’ and understand and frame business problems and interact with Senior Stakeholders

− Solid knowledge of statistical techniques.

− Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (PowerBI, PowerApps, Data Lake)

− Very strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

− Strong understanding data architecture and process by which data is stored, transformed, and shared throughout the different applications

− Experience influencing project teams and driving delivery

− The ability to come up with solutions to loosely defined business problems by leveraging pattern detection over potentially large datasets.

− High proficiency in the use of data gathering tools and frameworks

− Strong knowledge on data modelling and associated best practices (snowflake / star designs etc)

− Proficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive analytics & multivariate testing

− FM Industry knowledge would be preferred

− At ease with financial analysis and solid knowledge of key business metrics 

− Ability to work in a highly complex matrix structure
