Salary: £52,800 – £54,000 per year
Due to an increase in project wins and in line with a pre-existing growth plan we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a Building Services background to join the Defence project team of a very well-established, award winning Multi-disciplinary Design Consultancy.

* Healthy order book in place for the next twelve months with Defence projects commencing soon.
* Amazing Central London office however they are offering flexible working coming out of the pandemic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for leading the design of the mechanical building systems including air conditioning, heating, natural and mechanical ventilation and building controls.
* As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be providing mechanical services design on high profile Defence projects.
* Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team.
* You will support the Project Manager and Project Director with project delivery.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
* The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be degree or equivalent Qualified in Mechanical Design or Building Services Engineering.
* Experience of designing into Revit.
* Working knowledge of UK standards.
* Ideally Chartered or on the way to gaining CEng status through a recognised industry body such as CIBSE or IMechE.
* The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will have experience of leading teams on a range of multi-disciplinary projects.
