Salary: £50,400 per year
Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Building Assistant Site Manager on behalf of an established and rapidly expanding construction contractor to run projects across South Yorkshire/Humberside and surrounding areas.
An award winning and thriving regional principal contractor who are undergoing an exponential phase of growth. They have had multiple regional framework wins in recent months and are attracting passionate, like-minded people to the business on a regular basis. The company turnover is approaching the £80m mark and order book is full well into 2023. A professional and supporting business with 5* delivery standards.
Projects cover a wide range of building works delivered as principal contractor including: steel sheds, commercial builds, industrial builds etc. Projects cover new build and some refurb/fit out works and are valuied each at: £1m to £20m.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist Site Manager in daily work.
- Monitor targets & deadlines for site.
- Produce construction phase plans and programming works.
- Briefing RAMS.
- Inductions with sub-contractors and new staff.
- Co-ordination of sub-contractors – various trades.
- Monitor materials on site – assist with ordering.
- Manage individual work packages.
Experience required:
Must have:
- Experience managing construction projects covering steel frame new build with values of £2m+.
- Experience managing construction projects covering internals/fit-outs.
- Ability to manage project costs and on the ground delivery at all stages.
- Qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS / SSSTS, First Aid are essential.
Nice to have:
- Degree qualified or HNC/HND qualified within civil engineering.
Remuneration:
A salary of up to £50,400 (dependant upon experience) plus: company vehicle or allowance, fuel card, annual leave, pension scheme, private healthcare and other benefits.
